A walker has died after suffering an accident on Blencathra, a mountain ridge in the Lake District. The incident happened on the Sharp Edge section of the ridge. News outlets including the BBC, News & Star, Cumbria Crack, Manchester Evening News, and SSBCrack have reported the tragedy. The exact circumstances of the fall are still under investigation.
