Chase Elliott hit the wall on Sunday at the Brickyard 400. He ended the race in 26th place. The vehicle took a hard hit but Elliott claimed the damage was minor. Afterwards, Alex Bowman said he will step away after 2027. Bowman’s exit opens a spot that may go to Conner Zilisch in 2028. Elliott only mentioned Bowman post crash, without discussing driver reshuffle.
