Counsel for the defense in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial rested arguments on day 18 after detailed psychiatric testimony describing postpartum psychosis. The psychiatrist testified that Clancy heard voices, felt as if controlled like a puppet, and was in a psychotic state. The prosecution is now calling rebuttal witnesses to present their side. A prosecution psychiatrist testified that Clancy told her children "go to God" at the time of the January 2023 stabbing deaths of the two young siblings. Clancy has entered a plea of not guilty on the grounds of insanity. The trial is reaching its final stages.
