His death is now another tragedy in 2026 at the South Carolina basefollowing recent incidents at the site. The Marine Corps confirmed the loss but gave no details. South Carolina media first reported the incident, whilelocal undertakers handled arrangementscompleted the funeral plans. Police continue to investigate yet offer no explanation so far.
