The Las Vegas Aces fell in a tight contest 83-81 to the Golden State Valkyries on Oct. 9 in a WNBA semifinal, with the series still up for grabs. Guard Jackie Young drew attention for her efforts as she worked to help the Aces claw back into contention, according to ESPN coverage.

A'ja Wilson broke a long-standing record during the game, surpassing Diana Taurasi's WNBA playoff scoring record and adding another storyline to the night. The Aces now are under pressure to even the series after the tight result. Both teams return to action with the series on the line.
