Jarome Luai will sign with the Parramatta Eels from 2027, the club officially announced on Tuesday. The NRL playmaker’s move follows speculation regarding his future at Wests Tigers. Wests Tigers half Benji Marshall dismissed claims of a Luai relationship breakdown as "made up rumours." Marshall also stated a rumour dispute explained the saga. Parramatta confirmed Luai’s signing though still further details were released. Marshall’s comments came after Nine.com.au, SMH and ABC all reported on the unclear move claims.
