London police discovered a small marmoset inside a laundry bag on a bus last week. Staff identified the vulnerable animal on July 18. The animal was scared and had no food while quivering. It endured the difficult ordeal. Animal advocates described it an unlawful abandonment case. Meanwhile, researchers identified a rare monkey species in Congo’s Lomami National Park. The discovery came during a regular survey in the Congo Basin.
