Nelson Toburen, a linebacker who claimed two NFL titles with the Green Bay Packers under coach Vince Lombardi, has died at 87 after a battle with cancer.

Toburen played during the Lombardi era, one of the most celebrated periods in Packers history. The team dominated professional football during those years, and Toburen was a part of that period of dominance.

After his playing career ended, Toburen later worked as a judge in Kansas, a role that shaped his post-football years.
