The United States Central Command convened a meeting of top officers during a gathering in Germany. Among those present were the army chiefs of Israel and seven Arab states. Discussions focused on the ongoing war with Iran. A congressional report estimates the conflict has cost the Pentagon 38 billion dollars while straining missile stockpiles. The report says the war has depleted U.S. missile reserves. The conference gave senior officers from all eight countries a chance to discuss the war and coordinate next steps.
