Two WNBA playoff semifinals move forward Friday, Oct. 9, with both series reaching Game 3. The New York Liberty host the Atlanta Dream, though Atlanta takes the floor shorthanded as guard Allisha Gray is ruled out with an injury. The Liberty are up in the series and play at home.

In the other semifinal, the Golden State Valkyries meet the Aces in Game 3. Golden State took Game 2 on the road and now sits one win from a Finals berth. The Valkyries leaned on their depth to beat the Aces in Game 2, setting up a high-stakes Game 3 on Friday.
